Biography
Christopher Moore is an historian, writer, blogger and commentator who has been presenting Canadian history to general audiences in an accessible and engaging manner for more than 25 years. He won a GG in children’s literature – text for From Then to Now: A Short History of the World (2011), while his first book for adults, Louisbourg Portraits (1982) also won a GG in non-fiction. The Loyalists: Revolution, Exile, Settlement (1985) won the Secretary of State's Prize for Excellence in Canadian Studies. His history books for young readers include the co-authored The Story of Canada (1992), which won the Mr. Christie's Book Award in 1993. Christopher Moore lives in Toronto.
